JANUARY 2025 ASTROLOGY NEWSLETTER

Hello Janus, you ancient Roman god of two faces who opens doorways and closes gates.  Now that’s interesting because this looks to be a month with at least 2 faces. The cosmictician may see mid month’s visage blotted with wrinkles and scars, while very late month’s countenance should appears smoother, refreshed, and even smiling.  

One thing is certain, prepare for a history making several weeks. Included in this letter will be certain events and charts shoved into view by mid month’s full moon, all of which leads up to January 20th. Then onward to the upbeat positive new moon of January 29th which brings us into the Chinese Lunar New Year of  Prosperity,  the Wood Snake. Check that one out further down. 

 As you probably know by now, I can’t polly-analyze certain things, have to be fairly direct and say what I  see.  Astrology ’s focus has always been on cyclical patterns, and so it has been with my work.  I’m reminded here of something Henry Kissinger once said to some one I know that since astrology has been around for such a  long time that there must be something to it. Yes, Henry, early century star and sky studies would become Astronomy in later centuries, but the gifts of sky watching continues.  

Now, As we carry all the negs of 2024 out into the trash, and saving the betters, let’s look ahead.  Lights on! 

The big story of 2025 is of course that the four outer planets, Pluto, Neptune, Uranus, and Saturn, will be moving out of earth and water into thereby inspiring creativity, new ideas, science and  technology even spirituality. It will be electric and it’s all beginning right here, and will be in full operational mode by the second half of 2025. Just know that those monumental sky shifts serve as cosmic mirrors to our own evolving human selves.   

THOUGHTS  ON THIS CYCLE 

 December 30th – January 1st Our year will be planted under the solid and grounded new moon  (2:27 pm pst) in Capricorn, and thankfully  stabilized by Saturn.  New year’s Eve and January 1st may even be celebrated happily under the fairly cozy lunar arrangement with Uranus, and other some pals up there. Cheers.

January 2nd – 6th Now a shift in the sky as we’re about to see a repeat of early November 2024. 

 Edging out of Leo, backing into Cancer, here’s determined Mars in retro facing directly opposite that god of dark secrets and the underworld, Pluto.  Frankly speaking it’s radical and can provoke violence. Will something hidden come to light, secrets and lies? 

 I will add that Volodymyr Zelensky will be profoundly affected by this aspect, it’s a life changing wake up to a new day. 

But hold on, right here, Venus’ move into Pisces, her place of exaltation will add  a much needed comforting vibe for much of the month. Moving along into the week, well also have security arm Saturn’s assistance. 

Here comes Monday the 6th, day I’ve had my scope on. We may be witnessing a particularly confusing and even unsafe time with Mercury (news) messed up with the facts by Neptune. The tallying of the electoral votes are usually announced this very day. We’ll see what else might break the news. 

And here we are at the change moment of the month which can be (blamed?) on January 13th,  Monday’s Full Moon in Cancer ( its fave place) and  with Mars.  This set up of  home, comfort and safety is  high on the wish list.  Problem coming up is that Saturn with Venus shutting the door on Jupiter will limit fulfillment of those desires. A little depressing for certain people. Some wise emotional advice to be requested ?

Further into the with week the Mars to Sun intensity adds to our own USA chart’s legal frustrations. Now, since the lunar event in Cancer will have set off some tidal shifts, let’s check out some notable charts.

First of all, the chart of Donald Trump will be experiencing some harsh news; and as hard as it is for me to say this, his difficult aspects will persist for many weeks even into early April. Safety and stress of course. 

Next we Must look at Elon’s chart.  He’s ok right now, then some slight problems arise into February for both his and Trump’s conjoined Venus  (E) and Uranus (D) when Saturn moves in to shake both up. 

Then January 17th celebrates Robert F Kennedy Jr’s 71st birthday, or will it?  The chart’s planetary blockage on these dates doesn’t look very nice for him.    

JD Vance? Hi, where have you been? The hardest days for him are right on the 6th and then again the 19 – 21st.  He has a long way to go no matter what this month will hand him.  Later month’s new moon does favor him. 

Of course it’s the USA chart, which is why by mid month the harsh verbal sword aspect (Pluto oppose oppose Mercury) Governmental rule and law now  triggered by Mars, becomes my main concern.  America, what’s happening as you enter your new Aira of Pluto in Aquarius some 249 years later?  The battle of Lexington and Concord  set off our first revolution sparred by “no taxation without representation” in April 1775.  And there’s no mistaking those first 3 words of our US Constitution, “We The People”  September 28,1789.  

That same year, only July 14th 1789, with the    storming of the Bastille and Pluto into mid Aquarius, the French Revolution erupted when “Let them eat cake” didn’t work out so well for the common folk.  The rage of the people against the monarchy thus exploded and out came the guillotine.  Am I seeing  something here?  The new future, the  true age of Aquarius, has arrived.  I couldn’t help myself:

Now we’ve arrived, January 20th, Coronation day, oops I mean Inauguration Day has arrived, under this historic astro occurrence of Pluto exact with the Sun in 1 degree Aquarius.  We may expect  a new chapter, a new life and world for many who don’t know it yet. But there’s more to this date, its’ not going to be that smooth.  Will the inauguration even proceed on this day?  Mars squaring the moon and Chiron in close degrees is problematic. Anger in the folds, some red, some blue sheep. Increase security please.  

By now the drama will have subsided somewhat. Thursday the 23d ‘s Scorpio moon lines up to so many players up there that it’s on my list of better use days. The calmness and serenity will soon  blend into my FAVORITE day of this month. Ok we’ve arrived!

January 28 – 29th  New Moon (4:36 am pst) in Aquarius and it’s the Chinese New Year of the Snake!  Snakes are said attract positive attention and could see a rise in their professional success. So a Snake or Rabbit, depending upon which part of Asia you hail from, is known for its wisdom, creativity and even prosperity.  (We’ll have to wait and see about that last one).  Along with this lunar placement we have the added gift of Venus very close to Neptune and the north node in similar degrees of later Pisces.  No question, it’s going to give us a nice heart and spirit vacay for a day or 3.

  

 Step off that mental plane and go way higher, into a beautiful place. No psilysibin (sp) needed.  Jupiter’s assistance to the intellectual air energies of Aquarius  combined with these nurturing soul aspects create the best time to create and /or complete a task or dream. JANUARY 2 – 6th These early January bday dates have a need to watch carefully. Avoid any harsh words and actions from others or even yourself.  Then a note of caution and be very careful. Mars opposite Pluto is alarming. But thank god the  aspect from Saturn is very helpful. 

JANUARY 13- 14th Right here is a tricky time, and the biggest need here is for comfort and calmness. Just wrap up in a very cozy warm blanket in front of  the fire, and know that any hard thoughts will evaporate as the month moves along. Blame Saturn hitting Venus for that one.

JANUARY 19 -21st.These are legendary dates because the Sun with Pluto on YOUR SUNS is incredible. Who are you again?  The world should know your name if it doesn’t already. Or else your postmaster.  A big year ahead for you! Just be VERY’ careful around the exact beginning of this month! 

JANUARY 28- 29th These are the best days of the month so happy birthday !! Celebrate! New moon so nicely aligned with that beautiful Venus and Neptune piece of inspiration! Great days! 

JANUARY 30- FEBRUARY 2nd Luckily for you Jupiter and even Mercury are lining up to give you such a boost! Very strong at your birthday times but it’s going on all month thanks to the big J guy with a red spot.  I hope your plans will work out,  I mean , they should! 

FEBRUARY 11- 14th Just be careful and be safe a lot of the month with that creep Uranus bugging you. Most careful around Jan 22, 23 with that Scorpio moon. Happier days arise in later spring. 

FEBRUARY  26 -28th These birthdates should underline Jan 12-14th for best days that uplift and shine in your Suns, on you! And Venus is very sweet right there, get it?

MARCH  3 – 8th My favorite dates for you are right at the 15 – 22nd to be exact, a wide swath of dates. So do plan to take advantage of  them, also the 8th and 9th.  Carrion.

MARCH 11-18th For much of the month you have a good pal called Mars, and even the full moon of the 13th likes you! Other good news is the inspiration part from Neptune and Venus, you lucky fish ! Good month for you in a month that has its dark side hangin out.  

MARCH 20 -22nd These birthdates are still onto the north node as in this life’s destiny, and Mars is right there too with Pluto1 Pretty great especially a time for life decisions with positive outcomes. Yes. Do it. 

APRIL  2- 5th Fortunately for you, Jupiter is riding side saddle with you all month in to February! Now that is a very positive and expansive aspect even if you gain 10 lbs. Who cares? 

APRIL  9th – 13th Just watch your step and be careful around these new moon dates.  Could be some emotional moments.   A little tricky, but you have other planets and aspects in your charts that are different from your Suns. Be most careful around the 19 – 22nd.  

APRIL 19 -21st Caution and carefulness is called for early month and on these same identical dates.  the good news is that Venus is cozying up with you earlier month and Mercury likes you too! That frustration aspect will pass by March. Carry on.

APRIL 27 – MAY 3d That late December new moon just loves your Suns and you, and that energy will hold up for a couple of weeks. Meanwhile first half of the month you have Venus and Mercury to hug you so things should be nice! 

MAY  10-13th You’re in luck because earth loves water..and..earth ! Taurus to Capricorn .  So the full moon of the 13th then the 21-23d hold some nice energy for you, and calms down the Uranian rebel that wants to change your passwords. 

MAY 19- 21st These birth Suns will feel the positive uplifting rays from both Mars and Pluto! Wow this is incredible for you ! Will your name be in lights somewhere? probably.

MAY 29 – JUNE 4th Early month the 3d and 4th of June dates will feel Saturn’s gloved fist stopping you . Then slowly Jupiter slides up very helpful to the 29 – June 1st and the later June babes by later month on through February as in expansive, and maybe a few pounds gained?  But who cares.

JUNE  18 -22nd Later month a slight retraction of ideas or thoughts so don’t sign, not just yet. The full moon of February will like you a lot. 

JUNE  29 – JULY 1st Later Junes to early Cancers must beware very late month for any emotional setback or upset. Your nice part arrives with Venus exalted in the first ten days of this month.   

JULY 13 – 14th The Same dates full moon should bring a wave of inspiration to you and as the month rolls along it can get even better.   Fingers to the keyboard or hands on the wheel, focus, say it, do it! 

JULY  19 – 21st PLEASE BE VERY CAREFUL EARLY DAYS. Mars right on your Sun and self,  gun in hand, opposite Pluto with a mean glare in his eye, not ok.  

JULY  30- AUGUST 2nd  In spite of everything, you are so blessed to have the gift giver, slow moving Jupiter aligned exactly beside and with you, for the next 2 months!! Yay!! Tell him what you’d like to have for  your ?

AUGUST 14 -17th Watch your step near these same dates, because that rebel guy Uranus out there, has your password and might pull a rug out from under you.  Very early month great communication for like the first 6 days. 

AUGUST 29 – 31st The December 30th new moon loves your chart and will stabilize your path for many days ahead. Early month looks good, plus there’s Venus for the fun stuff.

SEPTEMBER  4-7th Your shining best dates are say between the 16 – 21st. Lots of support aspects to your Suns. . Then February gets even better. The Sun meaning what you do, health and self.

SEPTEMBER 12-14th ok that full moon on the 13th of this month speaks to you and, in fact, really likes you! And you even more good news, from old rebel guy Uranus!  Exciting and solid! 

SEPTEMBER  19 – 21st The early month’s aspects are lined up to your Suns. It’s an interesting time for you with a lot of strength from up there. 

OCTOBER  9 -2nd Not bad having Jupiter as your wingman for 2 straight months and call it a payback to last October’s eclipse. It’s a really nice late birthday gift.  Makes for a happy time .

OCTOBER 12- 14th Uh this is not so good because the  full moon on these same dates are not very friendly towards you. So just be careful  with words and actions mid month and know that  February likes you a lot more.  

OCTOBER  19- 22nd. Caution advised due to the early month Mars to Pluto battle. Stay out of sight, it improves by later month. You do have a friend named Venus very early month for a slight helper. 

OCTOBER 29- NOVEMBER 1st Happy you with this late December New Moon and the added gift from Venus and Saturn! Early month is your time! 

NOVEMBER 12 -13th  The month’s full moon likes you a lot.  Plus several side bar friends! That rebel Uranus has been toned down somewhat.  Your gift all month is from Venus! 

NOVEMBER 19- 21st The aspects of later month’s new moon  are so perfect and inspiring for you! Paint away, do anything creative and soul/heart inspired. 

NOVEMBER 30 – DECEMBER 4th Just be cool very early month with Saturn knocking his head against your door and then Jupiter opposite side. Your better days are with the late months new moon.But you have other planets and aspects.  

DECEMBER 12-14th  Very early month, likes you a lot. Very late month has some slight problems for you but not to worry, time passes quickly and February has some good times. 

DECEMBER 17 -19th Now, just a note of emotional caution around  late month’s new moon. Might be a a confusing couple of days, wishes and hopes just hold on.  No doubt the rest of your charts may have stronger aspects for these days. Your really best times for exact degrees of your Suns, will be coming later in the Spring.  You’ll see. 

DECEMBER  29 – 31st My fave dates for you are right around the full moon and just after.  The new moon of the 30th is absolutely wonderful for you. May your dreams come true! Happy birthday!
